MAIN FESTIVAL

On the main festival, tickets range from R25 to R40 and productions include Page by Page, Judy Page's musical flip through her life story and Femme! Fatale? where Ian von Memerty and Michelle Maxwell provide a humorous insight into how men see women.

Rex Garner directs Tim Plewman in the new comedy, Lomu'd by the Boks, about how an All Black fan copes with the loss of the World Cup! Another comedy sees Gaby Lomberg, David Butler, Nicky Rebelo and Jennifer Woodburne in What Annette said in her Sleep last Night.

DRAMA

Among the top drama productions is 1949, written and directed by Ronnie Govender. This amusing insight into the Cato Manor community is a good vehicle for Charles Pillai's fine dramatic talent.

Winner of two FNB Vita awards, White Men With Weapons is an excellent one-man play directed by Garth Anderson,

written and performed by Greig Coetzee, set in the SADF in 1990. (Age: 16+)

Directed by Mervyn McMurtry, Our Country's Good, marks the South African premiŠre of the multi-award winning play set in a penal colony.

Free Flight Dance

presents a programme by choreographers Adele Blank and Christopher Kindo.

FRINGE FESTIVAL

The Fringe offers a wide variety of productions. Tickets from R5 to R24.

Solomon's Pride

sees Greig Coetzee directing Bheki Mkhwane in this poignant look at the trials and tribu-lations of a gumboot dancer.

Aldo Brincat and Ashley Dowds present a story of friendship, aspirations, dreams, revenge and intolerance in Spoonful of Sugar.

Some top names in comedy are Joanna Weinberg in her Bum in the Butter about a South African who has never gone hungry and Mark Banks's latest and most outrageous, Stark Raving Mark!

Don't miss James Borthwick in Paul Slabolepsky's delightful tale of bushveld braais and platteland cricket, Tickle to Fine Leg and Gilda Blacher discusses everything from battle of the sexes to Prozac in Womb with a View! (Age 16+)

MUSICAL

Come Together

is a musical tribute to the Beatles that played the Supper Stage in Durban North and Naughty Noel is an enjoyable show about Noel Coward and Gertrude Lawrence directed by Garth Anderson. Still with Coward, Cowardy Caldwell is a tongue-in-cheek look at Coward classics by Rob Caldwell.

CHORAL MUSIC

If you prefer choral music, there's Gabriel FaurŠ's FaurŠ's Requiem perfor-med by St Mary's/Hilton College choirs.

Entry is free for Festival Mass by Hilton College and St Anne's College choirs.

Other choirs performing are the University of Cape Town Choir, the combined Hilton/St Anne's Chamber Choir and the St Mary's Chamber Choir.
