FILM-MAKING
The Visual Voice Film Museum Project is planning a film-making workshop to coincide with
the proposed
Community Health Awareness Festival (CHAF '96), scheduled for July 1996.
The film workshop will focus on the practical and technical aspects of "budget" film production
and elementary
scriptwriting. Participants will also be introduced to the process of using film for "entertainment with a
purpose" and as a means
to develop essential life-skills.
It is expected that a short 16mm film will be made about the arts scene in KZN and transferred
to video for screening
on the Greater Durban Television (GDTV) Community Television Broadcast provisionally scheduled for July
this year.
