NPO WIND OCTET

The NPO Wind Octet aims to fill an educational need for a small viable and easily mobile musical group to visit the 5 000 KZN schools which are spread over a wide area.

Wind instruments are also relatively easily-learned by teenagers and it is hoped to add a teaching programme as the need arises to give young people an opportunity to partake in music-making.

VIBRANT

This concept has proved successful worldwide. It is felt that there is no reason why it should not give KZN a vibrant, musically active youth.

The NPO Wind Octet is also available to play at functions of all kinds to add another dimension to music in Durban.

To achieve this, as always, funds are needed. Support is sought for the programme.
