The Community Health Awareness Festival (Chaf '96) and Community Television Transmission have been provisionally re-scheduled for July.
The Festival and Community Television Station will focus on the contribution the arts can make towards improving the quality of life of people in Durban.
The month-long community TV broad- cast aims to stimulate the arts and provide opportunities for people to acquire video and television skills which can link into the reconstruction and development programme.
Aspirant video-makers are encouraged to make videos on domestic VHS and 8mm video camcorders about events in their neighbourhoods for possible trans- mission on the Community TV station.
Anyone interested in contributing to the Festival or submitting videos for the community TV Broadcast should write to Cinematic City, Bat Resource Centre, Maritime Wharf, Small Craft Basin, Victoria Embankment, Durban 4001.
