The National Television and Video Association held its regional awards evening in Durban at the end of 1995.
The overall winning entry for the year went to graphic designer and creative director Ingrid Korkie and general manager Geraldine Boulton for an advertisement for Russian television made by The Video Lab.
Second place was awarded to Dr Sandra Herrington of Tekwini TV for a video on the Seychelles.
Third place went to Don Lawson of Videomaker.
Rob Greaves a videomaker for Natal Newspapers took a bronze for a film featuring the Daily News reports on Greater Durban TV, which was launched last year.
