Technikon Natal's department of Theatre Craft offers a new national diploma in Performing Arts Technology from 1996.
Using the wealth of resources already existing on campus, the new programme will include modules of computers and engineering, but about 50% of the course content will still include traditional theatre technology.
The majority of 1995 graduates have been placed in the industry and the new course has space for 36 students.
Anyone interested in pursuing a career in this technological and creative field should contact the department of Theatre Crafts on 204-2194.
