The Midmar Waterfront Market is situated next to Midmar Historical Village and will be launched on March 3, thereafter to take place on the first Sunday every month (09h00 to 15h00).
Entry to the market area is free and there is ample public parking. Other attractions include the tugboat, Eaglesham and a Shackleton aircraft as well as steam train and pony card rides.

The Maritzburg Arts and Craft Market is held at the Oval in Alexandra Park in Pietermaritzburg on the first Sunday of every month (February 4). This market restricts stalls to arts and crafts and a limited number of other stalls which have been carefully selected for their public appeal, thereby supporting the home industrialist.

Off the Track craft market, coinciding with the popular steam train's monthly visit to Botha's Hill Station on the last Sunday of the month (February 25). Work must be original South African and goods must be approved prior to market day (foodstuffs excluded). Buskers are welcome at no charge!
