DREAMERS & FAIRIESA ballet season comprising A Midsummer Night's Dream and Les Nuits d'Eté will be presented by the Playhouse Dance Company in the Playhouse Opera from September 6 to 21.The opening night performance will be marked by a spring ball in the grand foyer with all its attendant fairy-folk glittering in fancy dress attire. |

|
| Les Nuits d'Eté was choreographed by Jean-Paul Comelin, the French dancer and choreographer whose Daughters of Mourning was one of the highlights of the Kicking Air season in the Playhouse Drama in June. |
|
|
|
A Midsummer Night's Dream was created by Mark Hawkins, the company's artistic director,
whose choreography was in-spired by Shakespeare's well-known comedy. The result is described as "a froth of
classical dance and comedy."
Both ballets will be accompanied by the Natal Philharmonic Orchestra. |

Les Nuits d'Eté features the vocal talents of Suzi Stengel, who will alternate in the role of vocal
soloist with Sally June Gain. Providing the comedy will be M-NET comedy presenter John Vlismas and FNB Vita
winners Garth Anderson and Belinda Harward.
The Playhouse Company is indebted to the Old Mutual and FNB Vita for supporting this project. |
