DIDGERIDOO MUSIC

Didgeridoo

is concert and demonstration by versatile musician Alan Dargin, an Australian aboriginal didgeridoo player who is performing and working with South African musicians courtesy of the Australian High Commissioner.

He regularly appears at cultural, folk and jazz venues around the world and has been involved in a number of CD pro-ductions. He is also well-known for his cameo role as musician and drag artist in the Australian film Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

Alan is particularly interested in establishing a unique musical rapport between the didgeridoo and other forms of world music such as African rhythms, American jazz and blues and the music of ancient Ireland.

He will give several concerts in Durban. Tickets for each are R10 at the door.
